Tons of progress and genre change
The game has changed from an rpg with simple art into a 2D platformer with still simple but twice as detailed artwork. I've decided that I will make sure to work on this at least once per day.
additions: new style, new controls, new abilities, new dialogue(not yet implemented), debug mode to help find bugs, an unfinished boss, save files, some sandbox mechanics, blocking, enemy bouncing(very inspired by Hollow Knight), an inventory system, dashing, doubled art scale, added the first enemy, added a simple and unfinished day/night cycle, some lore, though the lore is in the intro which is not accesable currenly without digging through the files to find the object to trigger the intro, a butt-load of bugs, a confirmation system to the save menu, some sounds (though still no music), some new areas(most of the old ones have been replaced), and more that i feel too lazy to list.
I have started working on music, but I'm not very good at it yet, so there is no music yet, but there will be. The save files currently have things saved onto them already, but that was for testing, and saving over them will not break anything, though i think one of the save fules has broken data, so loading it without saving anything over it first might cause a crash, but as long as you save over the files, nothing should break when loading saves.
